With a foundation in industrial engineering and a natural inclination towards efficiency, my initial foray into the business world involved earning my Digital Marketing certification from Google Academy. Eager to apply these new skills, I began helping friends with their marketing efforts. While their marketing saw some improvements, I noticed recurring themes in their day-to-day operations that were hindering their overall growth and potential – things like inefficient workflows, missed automation opportunities, and a lack of clear value communication.

Working closely with these businesses, I began to address these foundational issues, clarifying their unique value, aligning it with streamlined processes, and implementing appropriate technologies. Witnessing the tangible results – a significant increase in repeat customers (62.3%) and new clients through referrals (18.9%) – was incredibly rewarding and marked a pivotal moment.

During my maternity leave, I had the opportunity to reflect on my 20+ years of optimizing operations for large enterprises. It became strikingly clear to me how impactful these same principles and strategies could be for small business owners, many of whom were feeling overwhelmed by the very businesses they had built.
